From Idea to Inception: Exploring Serein Properties Innovative Headquarters
Serein Properties is thrilled to announce the opening of our Vancouver headquarters, embodying our core philosophy: “Everyday Extraordinary.” This reflects our dedication to a human-centric approach to creating spaces. Through the collaboration of McKinley Studios and Turner Construction Company, we’ve realized our vision at the Bosa Waterfront Centre – where it begins with human needs and wants.
Nestled in downtown Vancouver’s vibrant heart, Serein Properties stands proudly in the Bosa Waterfront Centre, a state-of-the-art AAA office building by Bosa Developments. With a people-first design, our new headquarters is a testament to human-centric architecture and design, creating spaces to enhance the individual experience. This vision, shared with mckinley Studios and Turner Construction, created an office that impresses with its expansive glass walls, filling the space with natural light and offering stunning city views. Sleek glass partitions promote transparency, encouraging an open and connected environment. At its heart, an inspiring art piece by Shirley Wiebe hangs from the ceiling, igniting creativity and inspiration in visitors.
Our inaugural Vancouver headquarters marks a significant step forward, embodying Serein Properties’ philosophy and ethos. We aim to redefine the human connection with the built environment, emphasizing the enrichment of mind, body, and soul through purposeful, inspiring spaces. With a bright future and exciting projects on the horizon, our headquarters is just the beginning.
At Serein Properties, our headquarters is more than a physical location; it’s a strategic investment in our
future. Designed to foster growth, innovation, and creativity, this space will serve as the central hub for
operations, boosting collaboration and driving the company forward. Our commitment extends beyond the office, with a focus on prioritizing people.
As we welcome partners and collaborators to our new space, our dedication to our mission and vision is
stronger than ever. The new headquarters is a symbol of our commitment to enhancing the human
experience through the built environment. Celebrating a major milestone in the establishment of Serein

Unveiling Elegance: Serein Properties and Shirley Wiebe’s Collaborative Art
Serein Properties is proud to announce a milestone collaboration with esteemed artist Shirley Wiebe to create a commissioned art installation at the very heart of our Vancouver headquarters. This partnership is a reflection of our commitment to integrating art into the workplace and supporting local artists, emphasizing the importance of collaboration with partners with a unified vision through a modern, artist-led approach to design.
Shirley Wiebe, known for her self-taught interdisciplinary art, captures the human experience through her work. Her achievements echo the ethos of Serein Properties — where design meets function and beauty intertwines effortlessly with utility. Our collaboration was sparked by a mutual respect for craftsmanship facilitated by the Vancouver Art Gallery’s Art Rentals and Sales Department. Shirley’s talent for blending history, story and place with her materials-driven projects aligned perfectly with our philosophy.
The centrepiece of our collaboration, “Rain from a Cloudless Sky,” is a metaphorical installation that embodies the unexpected moments of serendipity suggested by Serein Properties’ name. The artwork, positioned above the seating area, serves as both a visual focus and a source of inspiration, crafted from unconventional materials and industrial knitting techniques. This piece emerged from in-depth discussions and collaborative work, illustrating our shared dedication to innovative and creative excellence.
This installation is more than just an aesthetic addition; it symbolizes our belief in the transformative power of art within spaces. It reflects our fundamental commitments to nurturing creativity, propelling innovation, and enhancing well-being through an artist-led perspective.
“It’s important to be able to experience art just part of daily life,” shares Shirley Wiebe.
“A humanness to the experience brings it to the level of the individual. Installation is innovation, and I feel like that’s what Serein Properties want to work on. Creating something literally, really innovative and new.”
Our partnership with Shirley Wiebe celebrates the integration of art and space, underscoring our dedication to creating environments that inspire beyond traditional boundaries. This collaboration enhances our workspace and reaffirms our commitment to environments where art acts as a catalyst for innovation.
